Ingredients
- 1 pound turkey sausage
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- [8 biscuits homemade ]
Instructions
- Prepare biscuits if making homemade and set aside.
- In a skillet cook sausage over medium heat. Stir constantly while breaking up sausage into small pieces. Sprinkle flour over cooked sausage and fold into the meat. Gradually add milk and stir until heated and sauce begins to thicken. When the sauce begins to bubble, reduce heat to simmer. Season with salt and pepper.
- Split biscuits and top with gravy.
