Sautéed Corn and Shallots

This super simple Sautéed Corn and Shallots is a quick and easy side dish that goes with any meal!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 2½ cups cooked corn divided
  • 2-3 shallots sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1½ tsp garlic powder
  • 5 prigs thyme stem removed

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add in half of the butter, corn, shallots, salt, and garlic powder.
  2. Sauté for 10-15 minutes, adding the rest of the butter at the half way mark, until the corn has changed from a yellow to a golden colour.
  3. Add the thyme and additional seasoning if desired to the corn and shallots and sauté for another 5 minutes.
