Sautéed Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
  • Pinch salt and pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon butter cold
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • bunch of parsley

Instructions

  1. Peel and devein shrimps. Leave the tail on. Once the shrimp are clean, pat dry with a paper towel and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. Combine the spices in a small bowl and mix well. Marinate the shrimp with the spices and olive oil.
  3. Heat a skillet on HIGH then add the marinated shrimp in one even layer. Sautee for 2 minutes then flip the shrimp and cook for another 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and add the cold butter.
  4. Transfer the sauteed shrimp to a plate and garnish with lemon wedges and parsley. Enjoy!
