Savory Pumpkin Dip

This Savory Pumpkin Dip is creamy, cheesy, and delicious. Serve it warm with crackers or your choice of breads. It's a crowd pleaser, and one moderate batch can feed the entire crowd.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz regular cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup pure pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup roasted pepitas shelled pumpkin seeds
  • 5 lices Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 3 green onions thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper plus more to taste
  • ½ tsp kosher salt plus more to taste
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Microwave cream cheese in a microwavable bowl in 30 second increments until very soft.
  2. Stir in all other ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon to combine. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Chill until ready to serve. When ready to serve, reheat dip in microwave or in a small fondue pot. Stir again.
  4. Garnish with extra bacon and green onions, if desired. Serve warm, with crackers or breads.
