Sesame Ginger Bok Choy

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • 8 heads baby bok choy chopped, whites & leaves separated
  • sesame seeds fro garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, water, sesame oil, and chili flakes in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet and cook the garlic and ginger until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Mix in the whites of the bok choy and cook 3-4 minutes. Add soy sauce mixture and leaves and cook 2 minutes more or until heated through and leaves are gently wilted.
  4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.

Notes

  • Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet on the stovetop until heated through.
