Sesame-Soy Green Bean Sauté

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • ½ lb green beans ends trimmed
  • Dash of crushed red pepper flakes to taste
  • freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • toasted sesame seeds to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the green beans, crushed red pepper flakes, and freshly cracked black pepper to taste. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes or until crisp-tender and vibrant green.
  2. Add the minced garlic, and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
  3. Add the soy sauce and butter, and stir evenly, coating the green beans.
  4. Sprinkle the tops with toasted sesame seeds. Serve & enjoy.
