Seven Layer Bars

7-layer bars are a vintage dessert that have been around since at least the mid-60s!

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces unsalted butter melted
  • 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 1/3 cup shredded coconut

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Melted butter in the bottom of a 13 X 9 in square pan, then layer in the following order:
  2. graham cracker crumbs
  3. chocolate chips
  4. butterscotch chips
  5. nuts
  6. coconut
  7. top with sweetened condensed milk and bake at 350* F for about 25-30 minutes or until coconut is golden brown. Let cool

Notes

  • substitute dark chocolate for semi-sweet chips.
  • substitute white chocolate for butterscotch chips.
