Shakshuka

A simple and flavorful recipe that's sure to be a favorite.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans tomato or 6 tomatos
  • 3 onions chopped 1cm x 1cm pices
  • 3 cloves garlic sliced
  • 2 paprika red, chopped into cubes
  • 4-8 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0,5 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Fry onion on the medium heat until tender.
  2. Add sliced garlic, stir the mixture for 2 minutes and add peppers. It should take around 10 minutes for peppers to be tender.
  3. Add tomatos and spices (salt and cumin) and cooked on low heat, covered with a lid for at least 30 minutes
  4. Make small wholes in the sauce and beat in eggs.
  5. Season with pepper and salt. Close the lid and wait until the eggs is done. If you like soft eggs cook it for 4minutes, if hard 10minutes.
