Ingredients

For the chicken thighs
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp coarse black pepper
  • 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
For everything else
  • 1 crown broccoli cut into florets
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. The night before or 20 minutes before you’re ready to cook, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and coarse black pepper and marinate the chicken thighs in it.
  2. Heat oven to 425F.
  3. On a tin foil lined sheet pan, lightly grease it and place the chicken thighs on one side with the marinade and the broccoli tossed in olive oil and pepper on the other.
  4. Bake together for 20-25 minutes, flipping the chicken thighs and giving the broccoli a quick stir as well on the 10 minute and 20 minute mark.
  5. Serve when ready.
