Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 6 cloves garlic - minced
- ¼ cup crab fat paste (aligue)
- ¼ cup tomato ketchup or banana ketchup
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes - or as desired
- 2 pounds Shrimp - washed and drained
- ½ cup Sprite / 7-Up
- green onions for garnishing
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Saute the garlic until tender and slightly browned.
- Add the crab fat paste and ketchup and stir until well blended. Season with fish sauce and chili flakes.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes stirring until all sides turn pink. Pour in the Sprite/7-Up and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes or until shrimp are completely cooked.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped green onions and serve with your favorite pasta or rice.
