- 14 tablespoons (7oz/200g) butter
- 2 cups (12oz/340g) brown sugar
- 6 eggs*, at room temperature
- 1 cup (5oz/142g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
