Single Serve Brownies

Quick Small batch single serve brownies made in one bowl in just 15 minutes are the perfect portion size. They're crinky on the outside and fudgy and gooey on the inside with the perfect balance of sweet and chocolate flavors.

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsps unsalted butter
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup chopped chocolate or chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a small loaf pan, ramekin, or square baking pan.
  2. Add the butter to a small microwave-safe mixing bowl and microwave in 30-second increments until completely melted.
  3. Beat in the sugar until dissolved then whisk in the cocoa powder until dissolved as well.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla. Whisk until shiny then stir in the flour and salt until just combined. Fold in your favorite mix-ins and bake for 12 minutes for gooey brownies or 15 minutes for set brownies.
