Skillet Cookie with Chocolate Chips
This easy to make skillet cookie is soft, and gooey, with melty chocolate chips, and goes really well with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1-1½ cups all purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips divided
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ and make sure your skillet is well oiled or greased on the inside.
- Cream together the butter and sugars, then stir in the egg and vanilla until smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients, except for the chocolate chips, and stir until well combined and feels like cookie dough.
- Stir in half of the chocolate chips, then move all of the dough to your skillet and gently press down into the shape of the skillet.
- Sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden on the entire top of the cookie. Let set for 5 minutes and then use a toothpick to check to make sure it is completely done. Then let cool for another 5 to 10 minutes before enjoying some with vanilla ice cream!
