Sliced Apple Snack with Almond Yogurt Dipping Sauce

Mix up snack time with this apple snack and a creamy, sweet almond and cinnamon yogurt dipping sauce. Ready in just 5 minutes, it's a combination that both adults and kids will love!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ Tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1-2 Tablespoons almonds optional, for garnish, sliced
  • 1 apple sliced (see note)

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a small bowl, stir together the yogurt, extracts, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
  2. If desired, transfer to a serving bowl. Top with almond slices and serve with sliced apples.
  3. Any remaining yogurt dip can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Happy snacking!

Notes

  • Serving size: depending on how much you like to dip, the yogurt dip will serve anywhere from 2 to 4 servings. Therefore, grab however many apples you'll enjoy throughout the week and/or serve more than one as needed.
