Slow Cooker Beef Tips and Gravy

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb beef stew meat
  • salt/ black pepper to taste
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. To your crock-pot, add the beef (trimmed, with any extra fatty pieces removed).
  2. Salt and pepper the beef to taste.
  3. Add in the onion soup mix, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and cover slow cooker with lid.
  5. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. For the last hour of cooking, take the cornstarch, and add about 2/3 cup of the liquid from the crock pot. Use a fork to combine until smooth. Pour this back into the crock-pot for the last hour of cooking to thicken the sauce.
  7. Serve over egg noodles, rice, or potatoes! Enjoy!
