Ingredients
- 2-3 lb beef stew meat
- salt/ black pepper to taste
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- To your crock-pot, add the beef (trimmed, with any extra fatty pieces removed).
- Salt and pepper the beef to taste.
- Add in the onion soup mix, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour in the beef broth and cover slow cooker with lid.
- Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- For the last hour of cooking, take the cornstarch, and add about 2/3 cup of the liquid from the crock pot. Use a fork to combine until smooth. Pour this back into the crock-pot for the last hour of cooking to thicken the sauce.
- Serve over egg noodles, rice, or potatoes! Enjoy!
