SLOW COOKER CHICKEN CAESAR SANDWICHES
The chicken was so tender and the entire family gobbled them up! It is definitely a meal that everyone should try!
Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chicken breast boneless skinless
- ½ cup caesar dressing I used Brianna's Asiago Caesar, bottled
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese shredded
- ¼ cup parsley fresh chopped or 2 teaspoons dried
- ½ teaspoon black pepper ground
- 2 cups romaine lettuce shredded
- 4-6 Hamburger Bun
- 1 (14.5-ounce) chicken broth canned
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts and broth into the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- Remove the chicken and drain all liquid. Shred the chicken using two forks.
- Add the shredded chicken back into the slow cooker. Stir in the dressing, Parmesan cheese, and pepper until the chicken is coated well.
- Heat for an additional 30 minutes or until warmed through.
- Spoon the mixture onto buns and top with romaine lettuce. Garnish with additional parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, if desired.
