Slow Cooker Holiday Ham
Slow Cooker Holiday Ham is a bone-in spiral-cut ham slow-cooked in a citrus and mustard glaze featuring orange marmalade, Dijon mustard, orange juice, and zest. Whole cloves and brown sugar add aromatic sweetness and warmth, producing a tender and flavorful ham with a balance of sweet, tangy, and savory notes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup orange marmalade
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- ⅓ cup orange juice freshly squeezed
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 8 pound ham bone-in, spiral-cut
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- 15 clove whole
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together orange marmalade, Dijon, orange juice and orange zest; set aside.
- Place ham into an 8-qt slow cooker. Sprinkle with brown sugar, rubbing in thoroughly on all sides. Place whole cloves throughout the ham.
- Pour orange marmalade mixture over ham.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 4-5 hours, basting every hour, reaching an internal temperature of 140 degrees F. Let rest 15 minutes.
- Serve warm.
