Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken Recipe
Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken layers bone-in chicken breasts over chopped red potatoes, seasoned with garlic, lemon juice, Italian herbs, and butter. The long slow cook tenderizes the chicken and infuses the potatoes, while a creamy half-and-half and cornstarch mixture added before serving thickens the sauce into a rich glaze.
Ingredients
- 5 chicken breast with bone in
- 6 red potato chopped
- ½ cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper ground
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3 lemon juiced
- 2 tablespoon garlic minced
- 1 cup half and half
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Place the potatoes at the bottom of the crock pot.
- Add the chicken on the top. Season with salt, pepper, italian seasoning, and minced garlic.
- Squeeze the lemons over the chicken.
- Top with the butter.
- Cook on low 6-8 hours.
- Meanwhile mix the cornstarch with the half and half.
- 30 minutes before serving stir in the crock pot.
- Spoon sauce over the chicken and potatoes and serve.
