Ingredients
- 6 pound whole chicken about 5-6 pounds.
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon rosemary fresh or dried
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 lemon sliced
- 1 onion sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Remove the plastic baggie of neck, etc from inside the chicken.
- Mix your spices together in a small bowl and rub the whole outside of the chicken with spice mixture.
- Stuff the cavity of the chicken with lemon slices and onion slices.
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker and cover.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours or 4-6 hours on high until meat thermometer reads 180 F.
