Ingredients
- 2 pounds precooked meatballs, I used Italian meatballs
- 3 (14.5-ounce) cans Italian stewed tomatoes
- 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 4 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon sugar
Instructions
- In a blender pour the tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, garlic, thyme, oregano, sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until the sauce is smooth.
- Place the meatballs on the bottom of a crockpot and pour the sauce over the top of the meatballs.
- Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for about 5-6 hours, until meatballs are heated through.
- Serve over some cooked pasta and enjoy!
