Slow Cooker Ribs Recipe

Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs that are fall off the bone tender made with a homemade rub and easy tangy bbq sauce. Cook in the crockpot all year long!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rib dry rub , recipe below
  • 2 whole racks baby back ribs
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce , (recipe below or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Rub the dry rub all over the front and back of the ribs.
  2. Cook on low for 7-8 hours (I do 7) or high for 4 hours.
  3. While the ribs are cooking make your bbq sauce.
  4. Remove from the slow cooker, place racks onto baking sheet, brush with bbq sauce and broil in your oven for 1-2 minutes until caramelized on the top rack then serve with additional bbq sauce.

Notes

  • Homemade Barbecue Sauce
  • Add all the bbq sauce ingredients into a saucepan and whisk until combined. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low for 45 minutes.
  • Best Ever Ribs Dry Rub:
  • Mix all the ingredients together, rub all over the pork on both sides once the membrane has been removed.?
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons paprika
  • 3 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 3 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
