Ingredients

  • 15 ounce baked beans canned
  • 15 ounce chili beans canned
  • 15 ounce cannellini beans canned, drained and rinsed
  • 16 ounces Bacon cooked and diced
  • 1 yellow onion finely diced, large
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • ⅓ cup molasses
  • ⅓ cup light brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 ounce root beer bottle, not diet

Instructions

  1. In a 4 to 6-quart slow cooker, stir together all of the ingredients. Cook on low for 12 hours.
  2. Remove the lid and continue to cook for an additional 4 hours, or until the consistency reaches the thickness you desire. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
