  • 1 Cup frozen peas
  • 1 Tsp Garlic puree
  • 1 Tbsp worcester sauce

  • 100 ml red wine
  • 2 Tsp parsley
  • 2 Tsp thyme
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 Tbsp mashed potatoes optional
Kitchen Gadgets:

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Sauté your onion in the slow cooker on the stovetop with a little extra virgin olive oil and then add in the minced beef and brown on all sides.
  2. Peel and dice your parsnips and carrots and dice and clean your celery.
  3. Stir into the slow cooker your veggies, half the seasonings, Worcester sauce, tomato puree, garlic puree and red wine.
  4. Find a hole in the middle of the meat and place your frozen veggie stockpot. Then place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 7 hours. After 2 hours stir the defrosted stock cube into the mince.
  5. 30 minutes before the end of cook time add frozen peas and add a scoop of mashed potatoes. Along with the rest of your seasoning into your savoury mince and stir well.
  6. When the slow cooker is done, warm up your giant Yorkshire puddings in the air fryer (one at a time) at 180c/360f for 2 minutes. Then load your Yorkshires with the mince and some mash before serving.

Notes

  • Swaps. You can swap step #6 for air fryer toast and make savoury mince on toast.
  • Leftovers. If you have leftover mince, you can put the slow cooker back on for an hour on high and it will reheat it for you.
  • Alternatively, why not try the leftover mince over our Ninja Foodi Baked Potatoes or into pasties like our air fryer corned beef pasties.
