- 2 lbs (907g) sweet potatoes peeled and cut into 2-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup ( 62.5ml) water
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp dairy-free butter
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Wash, peel and cube the sweet potatoes.
- Add them to the slow cooker, followed by the water and then cover the slow cooker.
- Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-5 hours.
- Open the lid and add the dairy free butter, maple syrup and cinnamon and mash (do not drain the water!).
- Serve Slow Cooker Sweet Potatoes mash warm topped with pecans and extra maple syrup to taste.
