Ingredients
- 1 lbs green beans
- ½ cup butter melted
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic or to taste.
Optional Sauce Ingredients
- ½ cup sour cream
- 3 cloves garlic minced or one tablespoon minced garlic
- ¼ cup dill weed
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- When ready to cook, set smoker temperature to 250°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes. Get your beans ready.
- Put the green beans in a pile on a rimmed baking sheet and pour the melted butter over them. Using tongs, spread the beans out in the pan and season with salt and black pepper.
- Roast the beans for about 3 hours, stirring and lifting with tongs every 20 minutes or so. The beans should be very tender, shriveled, and lightly browned in places.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and serve while hot. Enjoy!

- Mix together all sauce ingredients and allow to chill while your green beans are smoking. Drizzle over green beans and serve.
