Snickerdoodle Blondies
Snickerdoodle Blondies are a baked dessert bar featuring a buttery base flavored with cinnamon and sugar on top, echoing the classic snickerdoodle cookie taste. The texture balances moist and slightly chewy, with a cinnamon-sugar topping that adds a gentle crispness on the surface. Ideal for slicing and sharing, these blondies bring cinnamon-spiced sweetness in an easy-to-cut form perfect for snacks or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter melted and cooled until no longer warm to the touch, unsalted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 Tablespoon milk
- 2 large egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon cream of tartar
- ¾ teaspoon salt
Topping
- 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F (175C).
- Grease and flour (or line with parchment paper) a 13x9 pan. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and milk. Stir well.
- Add in eggs and vanilla extract and stir until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt.
- Stir dry ingredients into butter mixture until combined.
- Spread batter evenly into prepared 13x9 pan and prepare topping.
Topping
- In a small bowl, whisk together granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over snickerdoodle blondie batter.
- Bake on 350F (175C) for 25-28 minutes or toothpick inserted in center comes out clean or with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
