Snow Ice Cream Recipe

When life gives you snow, make ice cream with snow ice cream! A fun project for the kids.

Ingredients

  • 16 cups snow , fresh and clean
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk*
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • pinch fine sea salt

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place snow in a very large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, salt over snow and stir well.
  3. Continue stirring until it reaches the desired consistency. Add more (regular) milk or snow to thin or thicken.
  4. Add mix-ins, sauces and eat immediately. Place in freezer if it gets too slushy.

  • Substitute: 2 cups milk + 1/2 cup sugar
