Soft Chewy Sugar Cookies
Soft Chewy Sugar Cookies blend butter, cream cheese, and sugar to create a tender dough that bakes into cookies with a delicate chewiness and lightly golden edges. The dough is chilled before rolling and cutting into shapes, ensuring the cookies hold their form while remaining soft inside. These cookies can be topped with a smooth buttercream frosting that includes cream cheese for subtle tang and balanced sweetness. The frosting allows flavor variations using different extracts.
