  • 4 parsnip medium
  • 300 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 ml skimmed milk
  • 3 garlic medium cloves
  • 2 Tsp parsley
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • 28 g cheese optional, grated

Instructions

  1. Slice and dice your parsnips and give them a quick wash. Load your parsnips, vegetable stock, garlic and seasoning into your soup maker.
  2. Place the lid on the soup maker and select smooth soup and cook for 28-30 minutes.
  3. When it beeps remove the lid, stir in milk, any extra seasonings and grated cheese. Load into bowls and enjoy!

Notes

  • Omit cheese for a lower calorie version or choose your preferred type to alter flavor.
  • The milk is added after cooking to help control thickness and cool the soup before serving.
  • Cook time may vary slightly depending on the soup maker brand; follow your model's recommended timing.
