Spanish Gin Tonics
Spanish Gin Tonics are a refreshing cocktail made by combining quality gin and tonic water over ice in a balloon glass, enhanced with aromatic garnishes such as citrus peel, cucumber slices, fresh herbs, juniper berries, peppercorns, or edible flowers. These aromatics add subtle fragrance and complexity to the drink.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces gin I used Bombay Sapphire
- 5 ounces tonic water I used Fever Tree, high quality
- lice of lime
- ice
Aromatics (Choose Whatever You Have On Hand, It Doesn't Need To Be All Of These):
- citrus peel or slices
- cucumber slices
- herbs mint or basil, fresh, such as rosemary
- juniper berries dried
- peppercorns dried
- Edible Flowers these are more for looks than flavor
Instructions
- Fill a balloon glass with ice. Add whatever aromatics you are using. Pour in gin, top with tonic water and stir gently.
