Spanish Gin Tonics
Description
This cocktail features a balance of dry gin and crisp tonic water served chilled over ice in a spacious balloon glass. The large glass allows the aromatics to release their scents fully, enhancing the drinking experience beyond the basic gin and tonic. Typical aromatic additions include citrus peels or slices, cucumber, fresh herbs like mint or rosemary, dried juniper berries, and peppercorns. Edible flowers provide visual appeal more than flavor.
The preparation is simple: fill the glass with ice and chosen aromatics, pour in the measured gin, top with tonic water, and stir gently to combine. The selection of high-quality ingredients such as Bombay Sapphire gin and Fever Tree tonic underscores the importance of the base components in this cocktail style.
