Spiced Orange Bircher Muesli

Spiced Orange Bircher Muesli, or overnight oats, is a quick and easy way to make porridge for breakfast. The oats soak up the milk and juice, making them soft and easy to digest. Delicious!

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup (200ml) Greek yogurt (or non-dairy yogurt)
  • 1 ¾ cups (150g) oats
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 orange zest and juice
  • 1 apple grated
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 small pinch grated nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 cup (200ml) milk or non-dairy milk, or orange juice
  • toppings optional:
  • Handful of blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon almonds
  • orange zest

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all the ingredients together in a large bowl and stir.
  2. Leave to soak in the fridge for at least 12 hours.
  3. Serve cold, straight from the fridge, with optional blueberries, almonds and orange zest.
  4. The Bircher muesli will last for up to 5 days in the fridge.
