Spicy cranberry mango sauce

This spicy cranberry mango sauce blends fresh cranberries and diced mango with hot peppers, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, and passion fruit juice. Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cranberry fresh whole
  • 2 Mango peeled and diced, small or 1 large
  • 1-2 hot pepper seeds and membranes removed, diced, Red Fresno and Habanero varieties
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar adjust to taste
  • 1-2 cinnamon sticks
  • ½ cup passion fruit juice or orange juice
  • 2 tbs cilantro finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine the cranberries, diced mango, diced hot peppers, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, and fruit juice in a small pot.
  2. Cook over medium high heat until the sauce starts to boil. Cook on high for 5 minutes.
  3. Reduce the heat and cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. Let the sauce cool down. Serve with the freshly chopped cilantro.
