Spicy Deviled Eggs

Spicy Deviled Eggs are hard-boiled eggs halved and filled with a creamy yolk mixture combined with mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, white vinegar, salt, black pepper, and Sriracha. The filling is piped back into the egg whites, then garnished with additional Sriracha and optional chives. These eggs provide a tangy and mildly spicy flavor with a smooth, rich texture, suitable as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 6 egg Click the link for our Perfect Hard Boiled Egg recipe, hard boiled
  • 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise Best Foods brand
  • 1 ½ teaspoons mustard
  • ⅛ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon white vinegar
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • Sriracha sauce to taste, start with a teaspoon
  • chives optional

Instructions

  1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut them in half length-wise. Scoop out the yolks and place them in a separate bowl.
  2. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper, and Sriracha.
  3. Scoop the yolk mixture into a piping bag or a ziplock bag with a corner cut off. Pipe the filling into the eggs. Top with Sriracha and chives (optional).
