Spicy Ranch Fire Crackers Recipe
Spicy Ranch Fire Crackers feature mini saltine crackers tossed in a seasoned blend of avocado oil, ranch dip mix, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, dill, and cayenne, then baked low and slow for a crunchy, flavorful snack. They offer a spicy, savory bite perfect for casual munching and store well for up to a week.
Ingredients
- 11 oz saltine crackers mini size
- ½ cup avocado oil
- 2 TBSP ranch dip seasoning blend
- 1 TBSP red pepper flakes crushed
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp dill fresh works too!, dried
- ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper or extra, to taste
Instructions
- Whisk together oil, ranch seaoning blend (the kind they make for dips - I used Hidden Valley), red pepper flakes, garlic powder, dill, and cayenne.
- Add mini salines to an easy-seal plastic bag and mix well, gently massaging the seasoning blend into the crackers.
- Preheat oven to 250°F and allow crackers to soak in mixture while you wait. (I gave mine about 10 minutes)
- Spread crackers out over a parchement paper or foil lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly toasted.
- Allow crackers to cool and dive in! They stay crispy for about a week. Simply store in an airtight container at room temperatue. Enjoy!
Notes
- The crackers remain crispy for about one week when stored airtight at room temperature.
- A no-bake alternative is to coat the crackers with the seasoning and oil mix and let them sit for 30-60 minutes, massaging occasionally to distribute flavors.
- This recipe makes roughly 21 servings, approximately 17 crackers each.
