Spicy Shrimp Dip

Spicy Shrimp Dip is creamy and delicious dip that makes for a great game day or New Years appetizer. Cheesy, spicy and oh so flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ bricks (12 oz) cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup mayo
  • 2-3 jalapeños diced, seeded
  • ½ teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 cup Colby jack cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 pound Shrimp precooked, peeled and deveined, medium sized, cut into thirds
  • ¾ cup panko
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro fresh, minced

Instructions

  1. Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375° and spray a 2 quart casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl beat the cream cheese, mayo, worcestershire sauce and garlic together with a hand mixer.
  4. Add shrimp.
  5. Mix in the jalapenos and cheese with a spatula. Stir until blended.
  6. Pour into the casserole dish and spread evenly.
  7. Next, sprinkle with the panko and drizzle with melted butter.
  8. Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, until bubbly and the panko is slightly toasted.
  9. Remove and sprinkle with cilantro.
  10. Serve immediately with toasted baguettes or crackers. Enjoy every bite.

Notes

  • Serve this dip as an appetizer before your holiday dinners, or serve before the big game! Creamy, spicy, full of cheese and shrimp, this will be your favorite go-to dip for all occasions.
  • Tips:If you like an extra bit of heat, you can add a half teaspoon of creole seasoning or a couple dashes of hot sauce before baking.You can make your own baguettes for serving. Slice a loaf of french bread into small pieces, and spread with butter. You can sprinkle lightly with garlic salt if you wish. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned and crispy.
