Spicy Shrimp Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 avocado diced
  • ½ cup cilantro chopped
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce or other lettuce of choice
  • DRESSING:
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • black pepper to taste

  1. DIRECTIONS
  2. In a bowl, mix together chili powder, cumin, cayenne, and pepper.
  3. Add in shrimp and toss to coat.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a saute pan over medium heat and saute shrimp 4-5 minutes or until cooked.
  5. Divide lettuce, cilantro and avocado onto 4 plates.
  6. Add a few shrimp to each plate.
  7. Whisk dressing ingredients together, the drizzle a little over each salad.
