Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought flatbread
  • ¼ cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • mini pepperonis
  • 4-5 large whole black olives for spiders
  • 4-5 Mozzarella cheese slices for ghost cut-outs
  • 1-2 orange cheddar cheese slices for pumpkin cut-outs
  • fresh basil leaves cut into thin strips

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare your cut-outs if using them; Using cookie cutters, cut out ghosts from the mozzarella cheese slices, pumpkins from the orange cheddar cheese slices. Slice the olives in half. One half will be the spider’s body and then cut the other half into 8 thin slices for the spider’s legs.
  3. Spread the marinara or pizza sauce over the flatbread pizza. Place mini pepperonis on top and create a few spider olives placed throughout the pizza. Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove pizza from oven and carefully place the cheese cut-outs throughout the flatbread pizza. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place back into oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the cheese has just melted.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve.
