Sriracha Steak Fried Rice

This quick and easy Sriracha Steak Fried Rice recipe is made in one pot, in under 30 minutes, perfect for weeknight dinners in a hurry!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil divided
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb skirt steak sliced
  • ½ cup soy sauce Tamari for gluten free
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated or ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ cup Sriracha
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • ¼ cup green onions chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onions and peas.
  3. Cook 4-5 minutes, then add the garlic.
  4. Cook for 1 minute then move the vegetables to one side of the pan and crack the eggs in the other side.
  5. Scramble the eggs, then combine with the vegetables.
  6. Move the vegetables and eggs to one side of the pan.
  7. Add the additional tablespoon of sesame oil to the other side of the pan.
  8. Add the steak and cook for 1-2 minutes until seared on the outside.
  9. Add the soy sauce, ginger and Sriracha.
  10. Mix everything together.
  11. Add the rice, combine everything and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  12. Add the green onions and serve.
