Starbucks Caramel Latte blends freshly brewed espresso, warm frothed milk, and sweet caramel syrup to create a creamy coffee drink balanced by rich caramel notes. Ingredients
- 4 ounces espresso or strong brewed coffee
- 2½ tablespoons Caramel Syrup divided use
- 4 ounces milk warmed and frothed. (2% recommended)
- 2 tablespoons Whipped Cream optional
Instructions
- Pour the espresso into a coffee cup.
- Add some of the caramel syrup (adjust according to your desired sweetness level).
- Add the milk.
- Spoon whipped cream on top of the latte if desired.
- Drizzle additional caramel syrup on top of the milk or whipped cream (if using).
Notes
- Heat milk to 150-155°F (65-68°C) to preserve sweetness and create quality foam without scalding.
- Preheat your coffee cup with hot water to keep the latte warmer for longer and maintain espresso temperature.
- Add caramel syrup to hot espresso shots before adding milk to ensure it dissolves fully and distributes evenly, avoiding syrup settling.
