Steak Kabobs Recipe

Grilled steak kabobs recipe has everything you need for a great meal. Flavorful steak and tender veggies combine on a skewer for an amazing dinner.

Ingredients

For the Marinade:
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh Rosemary finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
For the Kabobs:
  • 1 pound beef sirloin cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 8 oz package mushrooms, cleaned and cut in half
  • 1 package multi-colored peppers cleaned and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 large red onion cleaned and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients for marinade.
  2. Cut steak into pieces and add to large resealable bag.
  3. Pour marinade over steak, seal bag and place in refrigerator to chill at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
  4. Remove steak from bag and discard excess marinade.
  5. Cut vegetables.
  6. Thread steak and vegetables onto skewers,
  7. Heat grill to medium-high heat (approximately 350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  8. Place kabobs onto hot grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side.
  9. Remove from grill and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Skewers - if using wooden skewers, soak in water at least 30 minutes before using. If using metal skewers, handle with care using a hot pad. 
  • Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5-6 days.
