Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

Try your ordinary steak with Argentine Chimichurri sauce. So simple and refreshing, it will become your favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tightly packed parsley leaves
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped oregano or 2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 medium onion finely minced
  • 3-4 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 -1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Choice of your beef steaks

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl combine parsley, oregano, onion, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, chili flakes and salt; mix wel. Set aside for the flavor to mingle.
  2. Heat up the grill until it is very hot. Season your steak with salt and pepper generously. Grill to your desired done-ness. Medium is preferred.
  3. Serve with chimuchurri sauce.
