Steamed Asparagus

Ingredients

  • ½ pound asparagus
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ lime juice Fresh

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Cut the bottom end
  2. Place in your skillet.
  3. Pour ½ cup of water, just enough to cover the bottom of the skillet.
  4. Place the lid back on.
  5. Turn on to medium-high and bring to a boil.
  6. Steam the asparagus for about 2-3 minutes, until the asparagus turns bright green.
  7. Remove, the lid. If there is still water, continue to cook (it will boil off in a minute).
  8. Turn off heat.
  9. Squeeze half a lime over the asparagus and season with garlic salt.
  10. Serve imediately.
