Steamed Broccoli to Serve with Tilapia

Steam Broccoli is one of our favorite side dishes for tilapia fish. It’s healthy, delicious, and takes less than 10 minutes to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean the broccoli and cut the florets away from the crown.
  2. Slice the florets into 2-inch pieces.
  3. In a medium saucepan over high heat, add 1 inch of water. Bring it to a boil.
  4. Add the broccoli florets in a steamer basket inside the pot.
  5. Cover the steamer, reduce heat to medium and steam for 5-7 minutes or until you can pierce the stalk with a fork.
  6. Remove from heat. Serve and enjoy!
