Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie
This thick and creamy strawberry banana smoothie is naturally sweetened, kid-friendly and great for busy mornings on-the-go!
Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup whole milk yogurt plain
- 2 tablespoons flax seed meal
- 2 inch piece ginger (thinly sliced)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup ice (plus more to thicken)
- chia seeds (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and puree until smooth. Feel free to add more ice for a thicker smoothie.
- Serve in two glasses and sprinkle with chia seeds if you wish. Enjoy!
