Strawberry Banana Smoothie 

This Strawberry Banana Smoothie is creamy, refreshing, and perfectly sweet! It's easy to make for a healthy breakfast or snack and tastes just like a milkshake!

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas peeled and frozen
  • 2 cup fresh strawberries or frozen
  • 1 cup milk of choice almond milk or coconut milk for vegan option
  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt or dairy-free for a vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon honey or agave optional
  • Ice* optional

Instructions

  1. Add all the above ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend until it is smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour into 2 cups, top with sliced strawberries and/or coconut flakes, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Consider peeling, slicing, and freezing the bananas ahead.
  • If the smoothie comes out too thick, add a splash of milk and blend again to make it thinner.
  • If the smoothie is too thin for your liking, add more frozen or fresh strawberries.
  • Greek yogurt is added for a boost of protein. However, you can add one scoop of vanilla protein powder in place of yogurt, if you prefer.
  • If you are using frozen strawberries and bananas, you do not need to add ice. Only add ice to make the smoothie thicker and colder, if you are using fresh fruits.
