  3. Peel a ripe banana (4 oz).
  4.  Put the strawberries into the blender.
  5. Then, put the peeled banana from step 3 into the blender.
  6. Next, pour 1 cup of soy milk into the blender.
  7. Turn on the blender to high speed for 30 seconds - 1 minute depending on the powder of the blender or until it’s smooth.
  8. Open the blender lid and pour the smoothie into the cup.

Notes

  • Soak and wash fresh strawberries 2-3 times. Then, remove the leaves.
  • Use ripe fruit because it has the best flavor. When you use ripe bananas and fresh strawberries, it is sweeter and has more flavor which makes the smoothie taste better.
  • If you want a thicker and creamier smoothie, you can freeze the fruit before blending it because frozen fruit makes the smoothie colder and more refreshing.
  • The best to use a high speed blender, it will help make the smoothie creamier and smoother in texture, you won’t end up with chunks of fruit in the smoothie.
  • I like to use soy milk for this strawberry banana smoothie recipe, but you can use other milk like almond milk, rice milk, oat milk or coconut milk.
