Strawberry Chocolate Smoothie
The Strawberry Chocolate Smoothie blends frozen strawberries and bananas with chocolate cashew milk and unsweetened cocoa powder to create a creamy, fruity drink. Thawing the fruit slightly before blending ensures smooth texture, and optional whipped cream or chocolate chips can add richness or texture. This smoothie offers a refreshing balance of sweet fruit and chocolate for a cold treat or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberry frozen
- 1 banana frozen
- 1 cup chocolate cashewmilk Silk® brand
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder unsweetened
- Whipped Cream optional
- mini chocolate chips optional
Instructions
- Place frozen fruit into a blender and allow it to sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes. This will allow the fruit to thaw slightly and make for easy blending.
- Add in the Silk® Chocolate Cashewmilk and cocoa powder. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- If desired, top with whipped cream, fresh strawberries and mini chocolate chips.
Notes
- If using fresh fruit instead of frozen, add a few ice cubes to thicken the smoothie.
