Strawberry Chocolate Smoothie
Description
This smoothie uses frozen strawberries and bananas combined with chocolate-flavored cashew milk and cocoa powder to produce a chocolatey fruit beverage. Thawing the frozen fruit for a few minutes at room temperature aids the blender in achieving a smooth consistency without ice dilution. The unsweetened cocoa powder brings a mild chocolate depth without extra sweetness. Optional toppings like whipped cream and mini chocolate chips add indulgent texture and flavor contrast. Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberry frozen
- 1 banana frozen
- 1 cup chocolate cashewmilk Silk® brand
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder unsweetened
- Whipped Cream optional
- mini chocolate chips optional
Instructions
- Place frozen fruit into a blender and allow it to sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes. This will allow the fruit to thaw slightly and make for easy blending.
- Add in the Silk® Chocolate Cashewmilk and cocoa powder. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- If desired, top with whipped cream, fresh strawberries and mini chocolate chips.
Notes
- If using fresh fruit instead of frozen, add a few ice cubes to thicken the smoothie.
